People in Walkerburn benefitting from major broadband upgrade

More than 500 homes and businesses in Walkerburn now have access to faster, more reliable broadband - and around a third have already upgraded.

With the support of the local community council, Openreach has brought gigabit-capable Full Fibre to around 98 per cent of properties in the area.

Full Fibre technology allows for smoother streaming, faster downloads, and more stable connections - particularly important for households with multiple devices or for those working from home.
