We work across the UK, from busy cities to rural and remote areas, which means we regularly encounter wildlife and sensitive natural environments. Protecting and restoring the habitats we work in is a core part of how we build and run our network.

We focus on practical actions that reduce our impact on nature, from how materials are sourced and sites are managed, to how we work with partners and support nature-positive initiatives. Where possible, we look to leave a positive legacy for the environments and communities we operate in.

This approach supports our wider sustainability goals and helps ensure our network is built responsibly, with nature in mind. 

How do we protect the natural habitats we encounter?

We work right across the UK, from the busiest cities to the most remote villages, which means we encounter wildlife and natural habitats wherever we go. We’re determined to limit the impact we have on them.
