Putting in your order is simple. Once you have all the information about your request just fill in this form. Give as much information about the work as you can and we’ll call you back to put in your order and take payment.
What to expect when contacting us
Our team are on hand to answer any questions you might have about moving or altering our equipment. We’ll spend time understanding your needs so we can find the solution that’s right for you.
Some of the work we do is complex and needs time to plan. For that reason, it’s important you let us know as far in advance as you can, so we can be sure we’re ready when you need us.
If you want us to remove or relocate our equipment, or even add to it, we’ll probably need to ask you for the following:
- Location of our equipment: the more detail you can give us about exactly what you want us to change or move, the better – for example we often have more than one piece of equipment at the same location.
- The type of kit you’re contacting us about, including a description: you can download a guide to identifying our equipment to help you.
- Why you want us to make a change: for example you might want us to move a street cabinet so you can do building work.
- Any documented plans you have: for major projects we’d appreciate these in 1:200 scale.
What happens next?
When you put in your order, if we can, we’ll agree an appointment for the work to be done. We’ll pass all of the information that we have gathered to our specialist planning team who’ll refine the plans and organise for the work to go ahead.
If the work is more complex it’s likely a surveyor will visit the location to survey the equipment and agree a solution. Once that’s done we’ll arrange an appointment for the Openreach team to do the work and we’ll keep you updated throughout the order process.
