Openreach has started work on a new full fibre broadband build in Bannockburn, giving local residents and businesses access to ultrafast, gigabit-capable internet.
Over 1,700 properties are already ready to connect, with the rollout expected to reach the majority of homes and businesses in the next six months.
This work is part of Openreach’s UK-wide plan to deliver ultrafast Full Fibre to 25 million premises by 2026.

Openreach is also supporting a Fibre Community Partnership in Gargunnock, helping connect homes not covered by existing commercial plans using Government broadband vouchers.
Robert Thorburn, Openreach Scotland Partnership Director, said:

The build in Bannockburn is being delivered in partnership with Circet, with a focus on minimising disruption during construction.
