Preparing for International Women in Engineering Day
We’re looking forward to opening the doors of our award-winning Open Street training schools in Livingston, Bradford, and Peterborough from 12 noon to 2.30pm on Sunday 23rd June for International Women in Engineering Day.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be an engineer? We’re helping to break down gender bias when it comes to working in engineering and have brought more women into engineering roles over the last year. But there is still lots to do in Openreach and across our society to bring better gender balance to the engineering field.
We’re opening our training centres to the public on International Women in Engineering Day and invite you to bring along your family and friends to find out a bit more about what Openreach do and have a go at some fun activities to “activate the engineer” in us all.
On Sunday 23 June from 12 noon until 2.30pm, our training schools in Livingston, Bradford and Peterborough will be open for you to drop in at the locations detailed below.
