By purchasing resilient circuits from Openreach, customers will benefit from not only dealing with a single supplier, but will also have the diversity of these circuits monitored throughout their lifetime by our specialised network monitoring system.
Ethernet Resilience consists of two standard Ethernet circuits of the same product type (e.g. two WES circuits or two BES circuits), delivered using diversely routed fibres between two Communications Provider (CP), or third party customer sites, depending on the Ethernet product used. These will form the primary and secondary routes of a resilient circuit pair. In the event of a problem occurring on the primary route, traffic can be automatically or manually switched to the secondary route depending on the resilience configuration option purchased.
Pricing information is available from the Ethernet Price List.
